just recently, the u.s. embassy in lima. had announced that members of a criminal organization may be planning to kidnap american tourists in that country. kron four's terisa estacio reports. they are hoping for the best. >> to jamie and garrett >> reporter: they are celebrating here in el sobrante. this after receiving word that their former co-worker jamie neal seen here in this photo and this one. that she along with her boyfriend garrett hand has been found. >> we are elated. >> reporter: jeff jerge says the bike store first heard the news tuesday afternoon. >> we were told that police found them on a boat. on monday. hands' family shared with kron four news their quest to find garrett. it was more than a month ago when both seemed to vanish without a trace while traveling in peru. on tuesday garrett's mother issued a statement - saying quote, until i hear from and see my son directly, we will not stop." in the meantime, the bike shop remains hopeful and optiministic about seeing the two again very soon. terisa estacio,
